Hi, if we booked one of the ready to go Bell tents (Yippee Yurts) would it be in an area okay for families?
Jun 24, 2014
Hi Loula, Yippee Yurts isn’t exclusively for families so there will be all ages in there, however it’s usually a very friendly relaxed space so I’m sure you and your family will all really enjoy it… x

Are big tents aloud? I have got my lovely lotus bell tent in mind and it would use up approx. 7 metres in diameter. But with 2 kids and maybe the husband it would be rather great to have such a big tent to chill out.

Hi Sabine, the bell tent sounds fine but space in the campsite fills up very quickly. To be sure of siting such a large tent I’d recommend getting yourself a Thursday arrival ticket. x

Hi, I phoned and left a message yesterday – not heard back- can you confirm if we are allowed to bring a caravan please.
Hi Claire – sorry about that – I’ll give the lady in the office a prod. Generally caravans are allowed yes as long as its within size and you purchase a pass. Further info on our FAQs x

Hi Cindy, we have a ‘live-in’ vehicles field where you can park your campervan and you can purchase a ticket for this on friday morning. There will be no vehicles aloud in the camping field any time.

hi is this mainly a family oreantated festival?
May 30, 2013
Hi Scott, yes are very family friendly, we have lots of kids focused entertainments, however we attract a range of people and have lots of different activities that appeal to different ages, some activities such as the late night burlesque if of course adult orientated. Check out the line up pages for more details…

So you cannot swim in either of the lakes?
Emma R says:
Hi Amber, I’m afraid you can’t swim in either of the lakes due to health and safety despite how tempting it may seem with all this hot weather!

How much is it to use the showers? (are they warm or cold? lol)
Hi Jade, It will be three pounds to use them. And they’re warm!

why is the family camping so far away from the main gate, don’t you know that we have to bring alot of stuff for the kids
Hi Thang, The family camping is actually closer to the car park than the other campsites. We keep the family camping just that bit further away from the main stages to ensure some peace and quiet for families.
can you go swimming in the lake?
Hi Gabi, With this weather it would be nice! However, what with health and safety regulations I’m afraid the lake is off bounds!
